Sending up a prayer

Because I have been so busy these past couple months, I have lost touch with other blogs that I normally read. I ran into a friend today who told me the sad news that andrea, who I blogged about a few months ago, has given up all treatments for her cancer and has only a few days left. She is spending all her time with her family now. She has six kids, the youngest is India's age. Please pray for them, and pray that she may have the least amount of pain as possible. As a mom, it is very hard to see why God chose not to heal her to live for her kids. But He does heal. (It is the trusting part that gets a bit tricky)
But her life has spoken volumes to mine and to so many other moms and I just wanted to take make room on my blog to honor her. Thank you Andrea for being real and open with your journey towards Jesus.

catch up...

So, the past several weeks have been a bit busy to say the least. I have not had much time to check email, much less to blog. Ever since China, it has pretty much been non stop. We just got back from Indiana on Tuesday. We visited Chris grandma, who we call "old grandma" who is living in a nursing home now.
Before that, we were at papafest which was a lot of fun. We had India with us and the older girls stayed with their grandma and grandpa. I flew into Chicago, where Chris picked me up and we spent 3 nights in small town Illinois with some good friends (Samsons, Kenney's, and Swanson's) camping out. I got pretty sick by the end of the trip. But all in all, we had a great time. We had a session on natural childbirth, which rocked!!

Before that, Moriah "graduated" from pre-school. She did a duet in her class performance. I Was impressed that my quiet and shy girl could get up there and be so brave.

india is now saying "no" in the oh so cutest way. she has been shaking her head no for months now when I say night night or nurse. but now she says no. oh, we are in for it. It is officially toddlertown when you hear that word!!

Chris is in Florida with the older girls now. I will post more details and picures later. It is a big surprise for them:)

my brother's wedding

My little brother got married last week to Brittany and is now the proud dad of Christany. We are so blessed to have these two wonderful new additions to our family. It was such a beautiful wedding and I was so happy to see my brother to be so in love and also to be such a great daddy to this precious little girl!!

I need to breathe!

Why do I do this to myself. I have been so busy these past three weeks, and looking at my calender just makes me panic. I am not going to have a break for a month from the travel, work, travel, work, travel, work schedule. It is all fun and good things, but I am so tired. Just wanted to say I am alive and will write more on all our travels later. Here is a cute picture my in-laws sent of the lahr gang- all 7 of them the last time we were in Huntington.
